R. Vincent Conti
January 3, 1950 – February 3, 2017
Vincent Conti stepped into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, February 3, 2017, surrounded by his family and pastor after a sudden episode. Vince was 67. Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver and Rev. Danny Hendrix will officiate. A Sweet Celebration of Vince Conti’s Life will follow after the service in the Fellowship Hall.
Vince lived his life out loud for the Lord, Jesus and taught the Word at any opportunity. He was born Jan, 3,1950, in Leominster, MA, and grew up in the Miami Metro area. He received his B.S. degree in Health and Human Performance from the University of Florida in 1974. Vince was a student athlete in Track and Field, Soccer, and other competitive sports.
Vince managed several retail stores in his career and knew many people from Big B Drug Store and Lowes. He also worked in church ministry as an administrator and radio ministry. Vince possessed a servant’s heart and volunteered with Hospice of Southwest Georgia, where he taught Bible Study at Camellia Gardens in his retirement. He also taught the Sunday School Fishers Class with other teachers at Pine Level Baptist Church.
He married Linda N. Conti, his wife of 33 years, and the family resides in south Grady Co. He has one son, Nicholas “Nic” Conti and a grand dog, Kirra. He leaves behind a sister, Paula Jean Conti of Thomasville, Wendy Foy (Darin) of Richmond Hill, Omar Morales (Kacey) of Thomasville. His brother, Steven M. Conti resides in the Atlanta metro area along with his children Michael Conti (Tiffany), Robert Conti (Sarah), Steve Conti (Jennifer). He also has many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017, at Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.
