Funeral services for Rebecca Anne Crosby, 80, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2016, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Brian Hatchet will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Crosby passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016, in Donalsonville, GA.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Yearwood, Dallas Yearwood, Tyler Yearwood, Jason Boatwright, Sonny Lee, Shay Woodell, Roy Radney, Ronnie Radney, Gavin Radney and Alan Yearwood.
Mrs. Crosby was born on March 10, 1936, in Thomasville, GA, to the late William J. and Ettie V. Scully. She was married to the late Donald Crosby, who preceded her in death on December 31, 1999.
Survivors include: son, Mark Griffis of Florida; grandchildren, Kimberly Dager of Guntown, MS, Pamela Furtado (Jason) of Hampton, GA, Roy Radney (Amber) of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Furtado of Hampton, GA, Laci Rixie, Brianna Radney, Gavin Radney, Sarah Radney, Georgia Radney, Abbigail Radney, all of Cairo, GA; brothers, James W. “Buddy” Sculley (Josie) of Donalsonville, GA, Charles Scully (Dola) of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Elizabeth S. Radney (Gene) of Donalsonville, GA, Lillie Mae S. Yearwood of Cairo, GA, Jeanne Boatwright of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, William and Ettie V. Scully; her husband, Donald Crosby; daughter, Gail Lashley; brothers, Robert and Pat Scully; and sisters, Ruth Kelley, Virginia Heaton.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the funeral service on Monday afternoon at Clark Funeral Home.
