Funeral services for Robert Kyle French, 51, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Bold Springs United Methodist Church, 861 Drew Road, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. French passed away at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA, on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
Active pallbearers will be Josh Clark, Dale Harrison, John Whitfield, Marcus Brinkley, Doug Lovett, Clint Norton and Chad Johnson.
Mr. French was born on March 10, 1968, in Cairo, GA, to George Robert French and Carolyn Bass French, who survive. He was employed with United Parcel Service. Kyle was an avid outdoorsman that loved to dove hunt, turkey hunt and any kind of fishing. He was a member of Bold Springs United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: son, Seth French (wife, Albany) of Ochlocknee, GA; parents, Robert and Carolyn French of Ochlocknee, GA; sister, Karla Powe (husband, Ricky) of Cairo, GA; nieces, Karlie Powe, Hanna Powe, both of Cairo, GA; aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Mable Bass, J.T. and Annie Mae French; and an aunt, Kathy Bass.
