A private family memorial service will be held for Robert W. “Bobby” Sanders, III, 70, of Whigham, GA. Rev. Johnny Burdick will officiate. Mr. Sanders passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.

Mr. Sanders was born on March 16, 1945, in Whigham, GA, to the late Robert Wright “R. W.” Sanders, and Edith Harrison Sanders, who survives. He was in sales with Northrop King Seed.

Survivors include: wife, Wanda Sanders of Whigham, GA; daughter, Dana Strickland (Earl) of Whigham, GA; son, Jason W. Sanders (Olivia) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Ben Strickland of Whigham, GA, Cassidy Strickland of Whigham, GA, Trinity Sanders of Cairo, GA; mother, Edith Harrison Sanders of Whigham, GA; brother, Max Sanders of Whigham, GA; and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his father; brother, James Sanders; grandchild, Gabriel W. Sanders.
