Funeral services for Robin Elkins Glenn, 60, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Tim Dean and Pastor Johnny M. Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Robin passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
Active pallbearers will be Luke West, Timbo Andrews, Bill Elkins, Willie Bond, Stanley Elkins, Bubba Brogden, Blake Stanaland, Seth Stanaland and Daniel Stanaland. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the CHS Class of 1979.
Robin was born on January 31, 1961, in Cairo, GA, to the late Frank D. Elkins and Eugenia “Jean” VanLandingham Elkins, who survives. She was a graduate of the Cairo High School Class of 1979. She was employed as a property manager with Wiregrass Management, LLC.
A loving mother and homemaker, Robin devoted her life to her family. She spent many years supporting her three girls’ many activities and especially enjoyed her role as a rodeo mom. Robin was a remarkable cook who loved preparing meals for her family and friends. Following in the footsteps of her father, she could often be found at one of many fishing holes with her cane pole in hand. Robin was an avid gardener, a hobby that provided many lucky friends and family with delicious vegetables she grew. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and was a loyal friend to many. Robin was immensely proud of her three girls and was happiest spending time with her family, most especially with those who called her “Nana.”
Survivors include: her children, Brooke Jones (Jeremy) of Cairo, GA, Brittani Miller (Chris) of Cairo, GA, Brandie Cecil (Blake) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Turner Jones, Gentry Jones, Bree Turner, Bryson Bennett, Alex Miller, Kaden Miller, Jesse Weaver, Hayes Cecil; mother, Jean Elkins of Cairo, Georgia; sister, Renn West (Lawrence) of Cairo, GA; nieces and nephews, Nicole West (Sara) of Valdosta, GA, Meghan Coleman (Todd) of Valdosta, GA, Lawren Phillips (J.T.) of Whigham, GA, Luke West (Kaylyn) of Climax, GA; the father of her children, Donnie Turner of Cairo, GA; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

The family will receive friends at the Fellowship Hall of Woodland United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
