Ronald Alton “Ronnie” Hall, Sr.

Graveside memorial services for Ronald Alton “Ronnie” Hall, Sr., 86, of Cairo, GA, are on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Rev. Christy Bandy will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Hall passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
Mr. Hall was born on January 27, 1935, in Cairo, GA, to the late Alton Hall and Edna Sutton Hall. He served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for a period of time. On September 8, 1957, he married Jancie Maxwell Hall, who preceded him in death on January 19, 2014. He was a farmer and managed Hall Family Farms and Cattle Operations for 30 years. He was on the Grady County Board of Commissioners for a number of years and served as chairman five times. Ronnie was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Cairo where he served on the Administrative Board and Board of Trustees. Ronnie was famous for many camp house fish fries where he entertained the coffee table crowd, friends and business acquaintances.
Survivors include: his daughter, Lynn Hall Everson (Tony) of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Al Hall of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Grayson Hall (Paige) of Donalsonville, GA, Morgan Everson of Tallahassee, FL and Baylee Everson of Valdosta, GA; sister, Mary Skinner (Charlie) of Macon, GA; brother, Ed Hall of Milledgeville, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; brothers, Bob Hall, Jack Hall, and Joe Hall.
