Funeral services for Ronald Hansel Sellars, Sr., 59, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2017, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny Burdick will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Sellars passed away at his home in Grady County, GA, on Tuesday night, January 17, 2017.

Active pallbearers will be Steve Anderson, Ronnie Chason, Al Jordon, Danny Thomas, Jerry Lee and Casey Norton.

Mr. Sellars was born on January 26, 1957, in Cairo, GA, to the late Hansel Sellars and Francis Clyde Sellars. On January 27, 2010, he married Patsy Griffin Sellars, who survives. He retired as a mechanic with South Georgia Tractor. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: wife, Patsy Griffin Sellars of Cairo, GA; son, Ronald H. Sellars, Jr. (Rachel) of Cairo, GA; daughter-in-law, Laura Bell Sellars of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Christina N. Sellars, Kaebrie L. Chason, William R. Chason, Nolen J. Chason, all of Cairo, GA; and his brothers, Arnold D. Sellars of Cairo, GA; Allen Stevens (Linda Allen) of Thomasville, GA.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Frances Christine Sellars; and a brother, Donald Sellars.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
