Funeral services for Ronnie Herbert Cook, 71, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017, at the Cairo Church of God, Cairo, GA. Pastor DeWayne Atkinson will officiate. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo GA. Mr. Cook passed away at his home in Grady County, GA, on Thursday, June 1, 2017.

Active pallbearers will be Ricky Cook, Ronnie Cook, Ryan Cook, Joseph Johns, Brandon Cook, Leeroy Westberry, Dewayne Westberry and Eddie Long.

Mr. Cook was born on November 23, 1945, in Cairo, GA, to the late Herbert Irvin Cook and Louise Pyles Cook. He served his country in the United States Navy. On May 9, 1963, he married Ann Faircloth Cook, who survives. Until his retirement he was a logger. He attended an Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Ann Faircloth Cook of Cairo, GA; sons, Ricky Cook (Jennifer) of Cairo, GA, Randy Cook (Terri) of Cairo, GA, Robbie Cook of Cairo, GA, Rory Cook (Susan) of Cairo, GA, Ronnie Cook (Debra) of Andersonville, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Cook, Shelby Cook, Joseph Johns, Breanna Johns, Brandon Cook, Tyler Cook, all of Cairo, GA, Cassidy Cook, Jessica Cook, both of Ozark, AL, Nicole Brown, Jenny Brown, Dustin Cook, all of Andersonville, GA; great-grandchildren, Skylar Riley, Hunter Elizabeth Cook, both of Cairo, GA, Kaylee Cromer, Elizabeth Cromer, both of Andersonville, GA; uncle, Hillman Cook (Dean) of Calvary, GA; and a host of nieces, nephew and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brother, Charles Cook; and a sister, Barbara Ann Westberry.

The family will receive friends at the Cairo Church of God on Monday, June 5, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
