Russell Mark Rich
September 24, 1948 – August 9, 2023

Memorial services for Russell Rich, 74, of Cairo, GA, are on Sunday, August 13, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Luke Rich will officiate.  Interment will be in Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Mr. Rich passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Mr. Rich was born on September 24, 1948, in Bradenton, FL, to the late Russell Dart Rich and Ruby Kearse Rich.  On August 30, 1984, he married Judy P. Walden Rich, who survives. Russell served his country in the United States Army. He was remembered as a jack of all trades, working as a mechanic for most of his working career. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Judy Rich of Cairo, GA; his sons, Wade Rich (Nichol) of Wamawa, FL, Luke Rich (Courtney) of Rutherfordton, NC; his grandchildren, Jenna Taylor (Lane) of Richmond, VA, Mackenzie Rich of Florida, Breanna Rich of Valdosta, GA, Cameron Rich of Florida, Rachael Rich of Rutherfordton, NC, Wyatt Rich of Rutherfordton, NC; his great-grandchild, Mae Taylor of Richmond, VA; his step-children Christopher Anderson (Melva), Albany, GA, Kim Lynch, Bradenton, FL; his step-grandchildren, Kristen Griffin (Linc), of Tifton, GA, Tanner Anderson (Kaitlyn), of Albany, GA, Christopher Lynch of Bradenton, FL, Kayla Vermillion (John, Jr.) of Jacksonville, FL, Cory Anderson of Bradenton, FL, Dalton Hurst of Florida and Drew Hurst of Florida; his step-great grandchildren, Chloe, Deacon, Alice, Elizabeth, Bailey and Riley.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his step-son, Jeff Anderson; and his sister, LaQuita Rich.

The family will receive friends following the services.
