Memorial services for Sandra Lee Richards, 75, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Pastor Johnny H. Moore and Rev. Brian Blackwell will officiate.  Ms. Richards passed away at Archbold Living-Cairo, Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Ms. Richards was born on January 31, 1949, in Grady County, GA, to the late Leland Earl Braswell and the late Louise Vinnie Willis Braswell.  She was a retired seamstress with Ithaca Industries and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Merritt (Joseph) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Joseph Ryan Merritt (Kimberly Crawford McElhaney) of Thomasville, GA and Christina Merritt of Crawfordville, FL; great-granddaughters, Callie Smith of Crawfordville, FL, Keileigh Sierra McElhaney and Melina Jade McElhaney, both of Thomasville, GA; sister, Lois Swanner of Cairo, GA; and nephew, Paul Swanner (Jennifer) of Cairo, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, immediately following the memorial service.
