Funeral services for Sarah Barrineau Barwick, 73, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Robert Crapps will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Ms. Barwick passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Ms. Barwick was born on March 11, 1943, in Cairo, GA, to the late Marvin Cecil Barrineau and Lula Marie Anderson Barrineau, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Whigham.

Survivors include: daughters, Carmen M. Osborn (London Jeremy) of Bainbridge, GA, Kimberly Kay Mitchell (Jerry Lindon) of Cairo, GA; granddaughters, Jada Lynn Pearson of Bainbridge, GA, Amber Marie Jordan (Tyler Varner) of Havana, FL; mother, Marie Barrineau of Cairo, GA; brother, Leland Barrineau of Cairo, GA; sister, Diane Faircloth (Rodney) of Cairo, GA; and a host of extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her father; son, James Glenn “Buddy” Barwick; grandson, Tyler Glenn Davis; sister, Claudia Johnson; and a brother, William Cecil Barrineau.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service.
