Shelly Lanis Glover, Jr.
January 30, 1972 – August 19, 2022

Shelly Lanis Glover, Jr., 50, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Friday, August 19, 2022.  A memorial service will be held in his memory at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022.

Mr. Glover was born on January 30, 1972, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Shelly Lanis Glover, Sr. and Virdie Ann Sheppard Glover.  Lanis started working right out of high school setting up mobile homes, and later moved into construction, and then engine repair. He was really a jack of all trades, but his passion was custom woodwork.  Lanis was of the Christian Faith and was attending Family Worship Center of Cairo GA.

Survivors include: his wife, Heather Glover, of Cairo, GA; his daughter, Shelby Glover, of Cairo, GA; his brother, Peter Glover of Cairo, GA; and a special friend, Marlea Simpson, of Cairo, GA.

The family will be hosting a visitation at their home following the memorial services.
