Memorial services for Stacey Lewis Cowart, 71, of Cairo, GA, are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at First Assembly of God. Mr. Cowart passed away at his residence, Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Mr. Cowart was born on October 17, 1953, in Pavo, GA, to the late Woodrow Lewis Cowart and Elizabeth Greene Cowart. On December 26, 1989, he married Sabrina Opal Hurst Cowart who survives. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife; Sabrina Opal Hurst Cowart; daughters, Niki Hurst (Nick), Stacey Lynn Cowart, Ashley Cowart and Tina Marie Perez, all of Cairo; grandson, Phillip Michael Hurst; ten additional grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Dewayne Palmer and Johnny Young; sisters-in-law, Sherry Hurst and Carol Hurst, all of Cairo, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Evan Kyle Cowart; brother, Jamie Greene; and sister, Henrietta Cowart.
