Funeral services for Ted Lenwood Williamson, 84, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2016, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Teddy Williamson, Rev. Gerald Horne and Rev. Donnie Wilkes will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Williamson passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, February 11, 2016.
Active pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Mr. Williamson was born on December 6, 1931, in Cairo, GA, to the late David Washington Williamson and Verla Mae Collins Williamson. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the logging industry. He was a member of the Riders for Christ Cowboy Church.
Survivors include: daughters, Linda Hurst (Jerry) of Thomasville, GA, Lois Whiddon (Robert) of Thomasville, GA, Maxine Singletary (Buddy) of Cairo, GA, Laurie Hunt (David) of Cairo, GA; sons, Teddy Williamson (Lisa) of Cairo, GA, Ken Williamson of Cairo, GA; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Velma Hatcher of Camilla, GA, Louise Strickland of Thomasville, GA; brother, Buster Williamson of Cairo, GA; special friend, Sandra Ansley of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Williamson was proceeded in death by: his parents; wives, Ruby Leona Austin Williamson, Georgia Davis Williamson; daughter, Lorrie Ann Barlow; grandchildren, Rebecca Leigh Williamson, Christopher W. Johnson; sister, Nina Martin; and a brother, Jessie Williamson.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 14, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
