Terald Kevin Patten

Private graveside funeral services for Terald Kevin Patten, 47, of Whigham, GA, are Saturday, August 15, 2020, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Rod Brinkley will officiate.  Mr. Patten passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Mr. Patten was born on September 10, 1972, in Jesup, GA, to the late Ronald Dean Patten, Sr. and Nancy Leola Jones.  He was a graduate of Cairo High School and Thomas Technical School.  He was employed with Linwood’s Portable Welding.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: sons, Trevor Patten of San Diego, CA, Tucker Patten of Cairo, GA; brothers, Dwight Patten (Sheryl) of Whigham, GA, Ronald Patten (Denise) of  McDonough, GA, Gerald Patten of Thomasville, GA, half-brother, Nicholas Patten; step-brothers, Larry Moore, Wayne Moore, Scott Moore; half-sister, Kimberly Vandergrift; step-sister, Rhonda Atkinson; mother of his children, Tamila Best (Michael); and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Richard Patten; and his step-father, David Moore.
