Funeral services for Teresa Moore Hurst, 57, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Abundant Life Binders and Believers, Cairo, GA. Rev. Felicia Pearson will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Hurst passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Mrs. Hurst was born on April 23, 1964, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Daniel James Moore and Betty Ann Perkins. On February 23, 1983, she married Charles Hurst, who survives. She has worked with the Grady County Board of Education in the Cairo High School cafeteria. Teresa was also a loving homemaker. She was a member of Abundant Life Binders and Believers in Cairo.
Survivors include: her husband, Charles Hurst of Cairo, GA; children, Charles Hurst, Jr. (Ashley) of Sale City, GA, Chelsea Davis (Chris) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Charlee Davis, Henry Hurst, Emma Hurst, Luke Davis, Cypris Hurst; mother, Betty Ann Perkins of Cairo, GA; sister, Dana Sapp (Sid) of Quitman, GA; brothers, Jamie Moore (Jenny) of Madison, FL, David Moore (Marie) of Thomasville, GA, Chris Moore of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel James Moore.
The family will receive friends at Abundant Life Binders and Believers on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 1100 a.m.
