Funeral services for Tommy Earl Bennett, 82, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2019, at Whigham Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. Allen Hartsfield will officiate. Military Honors will be presented. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Bennett passed away at his home in Whigham, GA, on Sunday, August 4, 2019.

Mr. Bennett was born on September 11, 1936, in Millwood, GA, to the late James Wesley Bennett and Rebecca Eleanor Lee Bennett. He served his country in the United States Air Force for 26 years. On September 11, 1954, he married Lois McBroom Bennett, who survives. They were married for 64 years. He was a radio communications technician. He attended the Whigham Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Lois M. Bennett of Whigham, GA; sons, Mark Bennett (Debi) of Spring Branch, TX; Tony Bennett (Debbie) of Pflugerville, TX; grandchildren, Michael Holler (Laci) of Bullard, TX, Michelle Holler of The Colony, TX, Dana Kanetzky (Billy), Janna Wolter (Jacob), both of Pflugerville, TX, Melissa Ramos (James), Sarah Bennett, both of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer Shuta (Aaron) of Spring Branch, TX, Jeremy Fedarko of Lopez Island, WA; great-grandchildren, Kacee, Ryleigh, Dakotah, Cadence, Felicity, Emery, Colt, Seth, Brianna, Aimee, James, Justice, Chelsea, Austin, Zaza, Bryce; great-great-grandchild, Nevaeh; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and eight brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
