Memorial services for Wendell Joyner, 60, of Cocoa, FL, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017, at the Chapel of the First Baptist Church, Thomasville, GA. Rev. Milton Gardner will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Joyner passed away at his home in Cocoa, FL, on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
Mr. Joyner was born on April 30, 1957, in Cairo, GA, to the late Floyd Joyner and Eunice Bryant Joyner. He was the owner and operator of WRJ Metal Works in Cocoa, FL. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include: his son, Josh Bain (Consuelo) of Ridgecrest, CA; grandchildren, Anthony Bain, Michael Bain, Neo Bain, Charles Bain, Tyrus Bain, Maura Bain, all of Ridgecrest, CA; sisters, Eleanor Harper of Cairo, GA, Velma Singletary of Cairo, GA, Bettye Carlton (Lamar) of Pavo, GA, Linda Parker (Allen) of Thomasville, GA, Lisa Joyner (George Banks) of Cairo, GA; brothers, Tommy Joyner (Linda) of Thomasville, GA, Virgil Joyner (Bobbie) of Monticello, FL, Steve Joyner of Thomasville, GA; sister-in-law, Pat Joyner of Thomasville, GA; a host of nieces and nephews; and two beloved pets.
He was preceded in death by: parents; loving step-mother, Emma Joyner; brothers, Bernard Joyner, Donald Joyner; and a sister, Frances Ezell.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church, Thomasville, GA on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
