Wendy Michell Hitchcock, 45, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her mother’s home in Cairo, GA, on Thursday, October 12, 2017. The family held a private memorial service on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Old Barrineau Home Place in Whigham, GA.

Ms. Hitchcock was born on May 11, 1972, in Thomasville, GA, to Charles Blow, Jr. and Linda Barrineau, who survives. She was a volunteer fireman.

Survivors include: sons, Zachary William Hitchcock of Cairo, GA, Christopher Smith of Mooresville, NC; mother, Linda G. Barrineau of Cairo, GA; father, Charles Blow, Jr. (Judy) of Mooresville, NC; uncle, Billy Barrineau (Rhetta) of Pelham, GA; aunts, Sara Pass (James) of Cairo, GA, Virdes Hurst of Cairo, GA, Brenda Meachum of Thomasville, GA; special friend and caregiver, Nathan Whitten of Cairo, GA; and grandparents, Thelma Blow of Thomasville, GA, Jake and Helen Whitten of Valdosta, GA.

She was preceded in death by: grandparents, Charles Blow, Sr. and Grady and Elese Barrineau.
