William Bryan King
January 20, 1931 – September 26, 2020

William Bryan King, 89, of Cairo, GA, passed away at his home, on Saturday, September 26, 2020.  Interment will be in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  No services are planned at this time.

Mr. King was born on January 20, 1931, in Cairo, GA, to the late Joseph Elmer King and Ruby Alberta Godwin King.  He was a member of the Cairo High School Class of 1948.    He served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy.  On April 22, 1953, he married Helen Newman King, who survives.  They were married for 67 years.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 122.

Survivors include: his wife, Helen King of Cairo, GA; daughter, Deborah Nelson (Pascal) of Colfax, NC; and grandchildren, Tabitha Nelson of Portland, OR, Reuben Nelson of Vancouver, BC Canada.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judith Ann King.
