Funeral services for Winfred Lamar Lee, 82, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2024, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Kerry Dinkins will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Lee passed away at his son’s residence in Havana, FL, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
Active pallbearers will be Tyler Lee, Wesley Lee, Allen Lee, Mark Stephens, Stacy Barrineau and Andy Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be members of his Sunday School class.
Mr. Lee was born on November 17, 1941, in Havana, FL, to the late Maurice Christian Lee and the late Lois Cook Lee. On April 30, 1966, he married Mary Eugenia “Jeanie” Whigham Lee, and she preceded him in death on November 9, 2022.
He was a mechanic and a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his sons, Marcus Lee (Jennifer) of Cairo, GA and Michael Lee (Kimberly) of Havana, FL; grandchildren, Christopher “CJ” Lee, Mackynzie Lee and Davis Lee; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sister, Leah Lee; and brother, Rev. Virgil Lee.

The family will receive friends at Pine Hill Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m, Monday, April 15, 2024.
